London thrums with energy, a vibrant tapestry of cultures and experiences — a dynamic city with a rich and complex history. In contrast, Paris beckons with its timeless elegance, promises a romantic encounter.

On this tour, we will skip the highlights and avoid the tourist traps. Rather we will find our way where these neighborhood reflect a different side of what could be seen as over neighborhood.

This was no ordinary itinerary. This was a tale of two cities, woven from art, aroma, and memory. A journey that asked you not just where you were going, but how you wanted to feel when you got there.

And as the train pulls away, the wine glass empties, and the jazz fades into night, we’re left with something that no map can give you:

A story. Yours.

Both cities are iconic, yet they cater to different souls. A moveable feast awaits you.

ACCOMMODATIONS

THREE NIGHTS IN CENTRAL LONDON

This centrally located hotel is a buzzing home in the heart of London. The hotel’s edgy DNA is evident in its Holborn location, with lively energy flowing from its stylish lobby through to the contemporary British restaurant. The rooms are small (hello central London), the design is well-thought-out to maximize comfort. The bed are a dream to sleep in!

THREE NIGHTS IN CENTRAL PARIS

This romantic independent is packed to the wooden beams with period detail and charm. Guests can expect a good old-fashioned welcome, with all the bustle of the Marais district on the doorstep. The 18th-century theming continues in the rooms – think grand curtains, exposed beams and hand-picked poetry and drawings framed on the walls. Views are either of the street or a quiet interior courtyard, and the beautiful balconies provide a suitably regal reflection spot. Seventeen of the 19 rooms have bathtubs. Bathrooms feature dainty trompe l'oeil murals and robes embroidered with a Beaumarchais portrait.

DAY TWO FEB 14TH East London | Shoreditch
Today, we leave behind polished central London for the creative East London. This is London with grit under its nails and brilliance in its bones. Visit a a long time local establishment for a proper English breakfast. Later, join a local guide for a fascinating walking tour. Our guide, part historian, part storyteller, leads us through the shifting soul of East London. Free time in Spitalfields Market for lunch and exploring. It is here where traders once sold silk and now offer artisanal produces and handmade goods. In the evening evening, Step into another world as we tour Dennis Sever’s House for a special Valentine’s experience. We slip quietly into 18 Folgate Street, a Georgian house like no other. Dennis Severs’ House isn’t toured. It’s experienced… room by room, decade by decade, candle-lit and hushed. No ropes. No explanations. Just the feeling that the 18th-century silk weavers who "live" here have only just stepped out for a moment. It’s part art installation, part ghost story, part time travel. Dinner in the evening. DAY FOUR FEB 16TH | London to Paris This day holds a certain magic, the kind that only comes from crossing borders not just of geography, but of language and culture. Today, we trade London’s pulse for Paris’ sigh. I am convinced the best entrance to Paris is by train. For this reason, we will depart London late morning and travel to Paris via Eurostar. Once we arrive, we will transfer to our charming boutique in the heart of Paris. The kind of place with wrought iron balconies and windows that open to old stone and street violins. Take a moment to settle in. Then… we step out into the rhythm of Paris by foot. We will begin our flâneur along the Seine, catch our first glimpse of Notre Dame and pause for a crêpe from a street cart … maybe citron-sucre or Nutella-banane—and eat it slowly, as Parisians do. This is not a tour. It’s a wandering. A soft landing into the spirit of the city. Pre-dinner, we will linger in a wine bar as we absorb the Parisian scenes. Dinner in the evening.

  • Eurostar to Paris

  • Leisure walking tour

  • Wine bar in the evening

  • Free Time: Dinner on your own

DAY FIVE FEB 17TH | Paris Immerse yourself in the beating heart of Paris. Today is your love letter to Parisian indulgence. From warm pain au chocolat to velvet perfume, every detail today is decadently deliberate. What best way to do so that by joining a private chocolate and pastry walking tour?! We begin with a private culinary adventure through the hidden patisseries and chocolateries of Paris. Your local guide a true Parisian leads you through side streets where treasures await. This isn’t just tasting; it’s storytelling through ganache and mille-feuille. Enjoy lunch together, we will visit one of my favorite spots for onion soup! Afternoon exploring neighborhoods visiting bookshops, cafes, the Officine Universelle Buly: a refined perfume apothecary known for its scents and design. After dinner, we will linger in the late hours enjoying jazz music across the street from the hotel.

Our final evening will be an affair to remember and promises to be a crescendo to an unforgettable week together. The wine is flowing. There may be toasts, there may be tears. But mostly, there will be that glowing feeling… the one that only comes from having truly been somewhere, with people who now live in your memory. This is not the end. It's just a comma. Because cities like London and Paris never really let you go.

  • Free time: Most of the day free to experience on your own

  • Farewell feast

MORE TOUR INFORMATION

  • We skip the tourist traps and highlights to uncover each city’s creative, cultural, and culinary heart. There is also free time built into the itinerary in order to allow you to visit sites that aren’t included in this itinerary. This is a slow, story-driven journey designed for connection, discovery, rest, and delight.

  • No intense hiking or strenuous activity is required, but you should be comfortable walking several miles a day on uneven surfaces, cobblestones, and stairs.

  • The hotels where you will stay are both centrally located. Three nights in a boutique hotel in London’s Holborn district and three nights in a boutique hotel in Paris’s Marais neighborhood—both handpicked for charm, comfort, and location.

Because space is a commodity in these cities, some of the rooms have creative configurations. In Paris, some hotels have bathtubs and some have balconies. This will be first come, first serve with availabilities.

Note: I find the beds very comfortable in both hotels.

  • This tour is about exploring London and Paris through the its unique cultures. One way to experience this is through the culture of food.

We will visit wine bars in Paris and cocktail bars/pubs in London. You don't have to drink in order to enjoy these places.

If you are a vegetarian, lactose intolerant, or gluten-free, there will be many options in London. Paris, not as much.

  • We recommend arriving a day early to help with both jet lag but also in the event there are issues with your flights causing delays. Otherwise, arrive by the morning on Day One to check in and rest before our evening welcome walk and dinner.

  • Visa requirements depend on your nationality. Most U.S. and EU passport holders do not need a visa for short stays in France.

You WILL need to apply for the UK ETA: The United Kingdom Electronic Travel Authorisation is an advance travel permission required from foreign nationals who intend to visit the United Kingdom without a visa.

Please check with your local embassy for the most up-to-date requirements.

  • We recommend packing light with one medium suitcase and a day bag or backpack. We'll be navigating cities on foot and via train, so portability is key.

  • Think stylish yet comfortable: walking shoes, layers for changing weather, and a few smart-casual outfits for dinners and evenings out. No formalwear required… unless you want to go face!

Note winter time can be cold and rainy. Make sure to have warm clothes!

  • Yes, private rooms are available for solo travelers at an additional cost of $895.00. Shared-room options are only for those who know each other.

  • We travel on the Eurostar in premium standard class, offering a smooth, scenic, and relaxed experience beneath the English Channel.

  • 6 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 4 dinners are included. Other meals are at your leisure, giving you the freedom to explore and taste on your own.

  • Not at all! The street photography session is open to everyone. Whether you’re using a DSLR or just your phone, it's about seeing the city with new eyes.

  • Yes. This journey blends guided experiences with personal time. You’ll have multiple free mornings and afternoons to explore, rest, or follow your own curiosity.
