This is my hometown. And this tour is something I’ve waited a long time to create.
Ballads & Backroads is a love letter to Tennessee, both the known and the overlooked. We’ll wander through the landmarks that shaped country music, visit roadside cafés that fed legends, and sit around tables where stories are still passed like bowls of biscuits. From the golden light of Leiper’s Fork to the haunted brick alleys of Franklin, this journey is filled with the places that raised me, and the ones I can’t wait to share.
You’ll stay in locally beloved boutique hotels, enjoy live music most nights, visit distilleries, listen to the stories behind the songs gathered round of songwriter, and eat like you’ve come home. Whether you’re dancing in a honky tonk or this isn’t just a tour

We’ll take our time on the Garrison Creek Loop, a scenic route perfect for walking, thinking, or simply breathing in the Southern spring. If the weather welcomes us, we’ll stop for a picnic among the trees. By early afternoon, we arrive in Leiper’s Fork—a village that feels like a memory. You’ll have time to wander its front-porch galleries and local shops, browse antiques, or grab a bite at Country Boy or Puckett’s Grocery, where the locals eat and the music never stops. In the late afternoon, we’ll gather at Leiper’s Fork Distillery for a private whiskey tasting paired with the stories of those keeping old traditions alive.
